The Wes Fest gang is back together (!) and excited to announce Fair Vendors next fundraising extravaganza, Schitts Creek Ya'll, A Celebration of Schitt's Creek at High Horse Bar on Friday, March 13th!
The entertainment line-up for the evening includes...
A "Single Mingle" from 8-9pm, hosted by founding FEVA member Maggie Heely of Weekend Wedding Warrior, in the spirit of Alexis' Singles Week! If you're single and looking for love, fun or friendship, make sure to arrive at 8pm to take part in fun speed dating activities! Open to all gender & sexual identities. This is an optional feature taking place in dance floor/ cabaret area.
Stunning Queen & musical theatre babe, Monroe Fitzgerald of Nashville, TN, will delight as Moira our hostess, and peform a inspiring musical theatre act from the show!
Jenni and Aaron of the Louisville art-pop band, Frederick The Younger, will perform a very special acoustic cover live!
The lovely & talented Louisville dancing Queen, Uhstel H. Valentine, will bring the party with a Jazzagals inspired number!
Queen, aerialist & performance chameleon, Umi Naughty, will slay the house down with her Alexis Rose pop confection!
The ever sickening and FEVA fave, Zsa Zsa Gabortion, will perform Roland and Jocelyn's signature track, serving comedic motel room lonliness!
HAY DJ will be spinning all your favorite songs from the show + campy Canadian favorites from 8pm-12am. 🇨🇦 Then they'll throw down with a blistering dance party to top off the night from 12-2am!
Play in the town of Schitt's Creek, with immersive decor brought to you by lead designer Stephanie Lindsay, of Forecastle's Bourbon Lodge & Wes Fest! Dance under the string lights at Mutt's Barn, sit in a booth @ Cafe Tropical, grab a themed cocktail or mocktail at the Rose Apothecary Bar or try on a wig at Moira's Vanity!
We'll also be featuring a "David" calling contest and of course, a fabulous COSTUME CONTEST!! As always, costumes are highly encouraged but not required:) Prizes for the contest curated by JD Dotson!
This event is raising money for the non-profit Fair Event Vendors Alliance (FEVA) which aims to connect the LGBTQ community with wedding and event vendors who stand for fairness and to promote the growth of that community of support!
About the venue... High Horse is located at 1032 Story Ave, Louisville, KY 40206. They are ADA accessible and will have a single stall gender neutral bathroom available on the night. They also have a kitchen with fantastic food options. Parking diagram forthcoming!
